2013 Newbery Read Book 17 Done Such hilarity…

2013 Newbery Read, Book 17. Done. Such hilarity and I am impressed by the author’s ability to tell the story in two parts/two voices and each character has their own distinct flairs in their narrative tone. There is just the right kind of silliness, inventiveness, middle-grade romance, and a satisfying but not all that conventional ending (leaving room for more books in a series?) to make the book stand out for me.
